About the Youth Centre
The Lugoj Youth Centre (Centrul de Tineret Lugoj) is a space dedicated to young people in the community, created to encourage participation, creativity, personal development, and collaboration. Opened in 2021, the centre is managed by FITT Timișoara and aims to provide young people in Lugoj with a place where they can meet, express themselves, and grow. Through non-formal education, cultural, social, and recreational activities and projects, the centre offers an open and friendly environment where young people can take part in a wide range of activities, put their ideas into practice, and meet others with similar interests. The activities organised here provide both learning opportunities and moments for socialising, collaboration, and discovering new passions.
An active participation space
An important role of the Lugoj Youth Centre is to bring young people closer to the community and encourage them to take an active role in the life of the city. Initiative, volunteering, teamwork, and the exchange of ideas are essential elements in building a more connected and active youth community.
