The Internal Organization and Operation Regulations (IOR) defines who FITT (Timis County Youth Foundation) is, how it operates, and the role it plays within the youth community of Timiș County. In practice, it serves as the roadmap that guides us, with clear and transparent rules focused on active involvement and responsibility.
FITT – a space for young people, led by young people
FITT is a public utility foundation, autonomous, non-partisan, and non-profit, created specifically to support young people. Our purpose is to support, educate, and connect young people through meaningful projects, events, trainings, and initiatives. From workshops and camps to support and mentoring offered to youth NGOs, FITT is a place built around community and collaboration.
How are decisions made?
Major decisions are taken within the General Assembly, where each member youth NGO has one representative with voting rights. FITT also has a decision-making Governing Council, democratically elected, made up of 13 legally defined young people (ages 14–35), responsible for the overall coordination of the Foundation’s activities.
The Governing Council also includes, in decision-making roles, the President, Vice President, and Secretary General, who together form the structure known as the Standing Bureau.
